s o much for security when i have to shared my credentials with other to ensure that life goes on. the other thought on this is that this is all linked to my Live account what happens if i get hit by a bus then what is my company going to do. i will have to buy another to get one more critical machine up-to-date, but i will and recommend anyone else not to buy this till Microsoft changes their activation policy. God only knows if i have over lapped some of the activation's.

i have upgraded 5 machines and every time (except for the first 2) i grab the wrong License from my list of licenses in my MS live account which then forces me to call for the activation verification code. I would not recommend upgrading to 2016 from Office 2013 unless you need or want the BI features in Excel, then it's worth it. The office apps (now called add ins) are still here. You could use Office 2016 blindfolded if you are familiar with Office 2013. The collaboration features promoted by Microsoft is useful in a corporal environment, but most home users and small business users will have no use for them. The washed out white from Office 2013 is still here, b ut the light grey and medium greys of Office 2013 are not (could be added later by Microsoft). Get this version if BI is important to you and/or your job.ДЄs for the rest of Office 2016, very little added besides new color schemes of Colorful (Bright colors on the title bar and tab groupings of each of the programs) and a dark grey theme. The BI features are not included in the Office 2016 packages of Home and Student and Business. Who can figure out Microsoft's logic at times. Ironically you can get these features in the stand alone version of Excel 2013, but not in the 'professional' version of Office 2013 Excel. The Professional version of Excel in 2016 includes Power Pivot and Power View, two features not included in the 2013 version of Excel.

I bought this version just for the BI (Business Intelligence) features in Excel. Other than Excel BI, little difference between Office 20.
